CoMotion 2026

Title Sequence

The Largest Student Led Motion Design Conference

This title sequence was created for CoMotion 2026, SCAD’s student-led motion design conference. Directed by Anaissa Ruiz Tejada and Cristian Sandoval.

The creative direction for this project was rooted in curiosity and exploration. Understanding that every pixel is composed of elemental forces that give life to the universe. An experiment to observe how energy flows and transforms between mechanics, light, and sound, and how those forces are perceived by the human body to eventually culminate in human emotion.

Creating the UI Elements

Energy, science, and human evolution have evolved together with the advancement of technology. Though sometimes at odds, technology and human nature blend together as the UI elements accent and blend with the type animation.

My exploration was inspired by the Matrix, Metal Gear Solid and Halo UI, as well as Github coding as a reference point. After understanding how I wanted things to move, it was a matter of timing them to accent and not distract.
